Mark Hampton has passed away

Mark Hampton passed away unexpectedly while hunting in Africa. He was 68. One of the best handgun hunters and excellent writer.

Yup, saw that over on Lee's website........ I really wasn't familiar with him or his work.
Apparently he died doing what he loved.

Mark wrote some books,, and was a columnist for American Handgunner. He spent much of his life pursuing game all over the world,, and only using handguns. Plus,, due to the various countries & their weird gun laws,, often,, he'd use a single-shot Contender or Encore to hunt with. A inventive way to get around many weird gun laws.

Many may have never heard of him,, but dedicated handgun hunters knew him.
