Nice concept, however, Mini-14 mags are bigger than the M1 Carbine 15 rounders. This is one of the nice things about the M1 Carbine: 45 rounds ready to go. Even one 20 round pouch on the Mini might be very handy to give 40 rounds ready to go. Are you aware that Ruger is sellin 30 round Ruger Mags now!
Right now, I just use GI belt pouch for M-16 mags.
