(edited)... Okay... I have never heard of this company before... Why is there an need for a Keltec clone??? It's not as if Keltecs are cost prohibitive and you need a cheaper version...

Yesterday I was given a compact double stack magazine, that was found on a river bank. It had 8 rounds in it, (it holds 10).
It has no markings other than, SCCY on the base plate. It is almost exactly (but not quite), the same dimensions as my Keltec P11 magazine.
It fits and locks into my P11, with just a bit of slop. I did a function test with all rounds, and it fed perfectly except that the last round would not pick up and chamber.
There is only one mag catch slot. I don't think this is an after market for a smith, as my P11 accepts double stack Smith magazines on purpose...
Any idea's what gun this fits?? I do not own a Glock or XD, etc.... My P11 magazine is on the left for reference.....

Not certain what your question is.

You're correct.
You have a SCCY magazine.

I get capitalism!!... But it just seems odd that the design would be so close to the Keltec... My first thought was.... "thats a Keltec!!".....
I'm NOT saying they are bad guns.... But one thing fer sure.. They need a catchier name than SCCY......... Like maybe, "Punisher Firearms!!"...
When I saw the mag I just assumed it was an after market, like mecgar or promag......

I'll stick with my P11... If Dana Loesch uses Keltec.... them... they are good enough for me!!!

p.s... anybody need a SCCY magazine??.........

I've only seen a couple of write ups on them and they seemed to be favorable. We all know how honest gun writers are, right. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one and seeing if I like the way they feel in my hand. I might even buy one.

Well... I'd suppose the bugs have been pretty much taken care of, in most any semi auto design.... It looks well made enough I wouldn't turn one down (SCCY)... I love my Keltec P11.
I'm wearing it right now.... It has been entirely dependable, and I have even killed a few things with it.... However I think I have all the 9mm's I really need..
I know... I can't believe I said that ........

The SCCY is a double stack 9mm, 10+1 that is DAO. I bought one four years ago at Rural King on sale for $165. I put a Galloway Precision short stroke trigger kit in it that has pre and post travel adjustments and a MCarbo spring kit that brought the DAO down to 4.5 lbs. It was my carry gun until I got a Sig P938. It certainly is not a range/target gun but it holds a tight group out to 15 yard off hand which is what it is designed for. SCCY gets a lot of bashing but mine just eats everything and plain old works.

Well the name SCCY doesn't sound too bad when you realize it's pronounced SKY. They are rated as very decent and reliable guns. Cost is low, quality is decent. What's not to like?

I had one when they first came out. Shot a lot of different ammo thru it and never had a problem. Today they are prices around 200.00 retail. Sometimes less. Good little gun.
