M77 tang safety stocks?

Gunsmith wrecked a stock of mine. I like the original stocks and want to replace it with an original tang safety stock. Does ruger still make these? What do they go for?

These show up on ebay once in a while. Not sure how that works for you in SA though. Good luck in your search.

I don't know about current inventory, but a few years ago I was able to get a short action tang safety RSI stock from the factory for a rifle I bought whose previous owner had shortened the stock. It didn't have a red buttpad, though. Might be worth a call, but they aren't cheap.

Kudu give gunparts a try out of new york I also believe they go by numrich arms they did have some new stocks at good prices. good luck
