I have a M77 223, SS, skelitized stock. I bought it new many years ago for the looks And the value. I doo have a matching 10/22. I have not shot it much I always used to grab the rem 22/250. Can the barrel be free floated? I can only slide a bill about 2 in. Now

Done. I got out the dremil and. Free floated the barrel. Any thoughts on glass bedding the action?[/b]

How does it shoot now? My philosophy is don't break what isn't already broken. Actually thats not my philosophy, mine would be fix it until its broken and then fix it.

Anyway, if its shooting good don't mess with it.

it is too muddy to get vto the range. I An waiting for things to dry out. What kind of accuracy can I hope for with this rifle and Android Leupold 3.5 by 10. I reload with varget and 50-55grain vmax?
