M77 experts, I have a question.....

Just purchased a M77 M11 chambered in 300 RSAUM.
Can anyone tell me how many years this caliber was offered and a rough time frame of when that would have been.

No expert but I remember them being back in the early 2000's. They were only made for a couple of years roughly and I also think they were made before the WSM's. Both went to the wayside fairly quick but I'd bet on the SAUM's production being lower. I also recall them having 22" barrels. I thought they should have had 24" instead but Ruger is one of them that always fails to put a decent length tube on rifles that can really use it. For instance...my 280 with a 22". Another one that could really benefit from a 24".

Its not a lot of help but gives you a general idea.
 
They were made a little over a year before being replaced in Ruger's lineup by the WSM calibers.
