As to value,, well,, it's all about condition & completeness of the package.
A NIB example,, vs a clean used shooter does affect value. We'd need more details,, and especially pics if possible.

Rings only Are 6MMs more rare than others?

Less 6mms were made than, say .30-06s, but they are not rare.
