Going through some stuff and ran across this old book; Read it again and decided to put it up for a KARMA:

Luke Short : HIGH VERMILLION

Copyright: 1947
this copy published :
July 1991

Put your name in the hat and I'll pull out a winner on 3/13/2020.

Hi,

I had some shirt tail kin by the name of "Longhair Jim" Courtright. As with many "gunslingers" of the era, he worked both sides of the street: lawman one day, outlaw the next, depending on who paid better. He was killed in Ft. Worth, TX on Feb. 8, 1887. Regardless of whether one believes the rather embellished reports on the Interwebs today, or the far less glorified story reported by the Univ. of OK (probably one of the top sources of Western history in the country) in a book on Western gunfighters published decades ago, it's agreed that Luke Short shot him...

With that as history, go ahead and stick my name in! Thank you,

Rick C

Well, The penny with Pistolero's number on it found it's way out of hand when I reached in with my eyes closed.
So when he PM's me his address I'll send it on to him to enjoy.
Hopefully he'll put back up for karma when finished.
Thanks all for playing.
