Looking for mount for a Mark II

Hi All,
I have a Ruger Mark II competition target model, it's drilled and taped for a scope mount, infact it came with a Ruger mount. I don't think I can use the supplied Ruger mount because I want to put a reflex red dot sight on the gun, and I think the Ruger mount will only accept Ruger rings. So can anyone recommend a good mount that will fit my gun, and accept the weaver mounting system thats on most reflex red dot sights?

Paul, welcome to the Forum, I think you'll find that Ruger carries a wider ,Weaver style mount that has the same hole patterns as their earlier, narrow, mount that was made for ONLY using their rings...........we usually have one sitting around here, but last show we need two of them and sold the last one and redid another ( changed the hole pattern to match) the Rugers holes...that way one can use any of the 'red dot' optics out there. Give them a call monday AM.......

or use the Brownells one, part number #957-108-o22AB (blue)or the #002AB for silver...........
