Shop around. The SP in 357 gives you versitility. It will shoot a bit more comfortably. Yes, the LCR will pack a bit easier though. I have a few SP's around here. We enjoy them.

The LCR is going to kick like all get out with magnum ammo, but if recoil is a problem, shoot it mostly with 38 and you will have no issue. When you carry on your Harley and NEED it, you won't notice the recoil of the 357s in it. For CARRY especially in warm weather, the LCR is the way to go! If you live up north where you can wear a jacket all year, and carry on a belt, go with the SP101.

Just my advice.

It also depends on your physical size, you dont want something that "prints" personally I carry my gp 100 3" and am very happy with it. The sp 101 is the baby sister to the gp.
Well I'm 5'10", 147 lbs soaking wet (down from 214 1 1/2 years ago, finding out yoy have Diabetis and taking care of it will do that). So I'm not a big guy, but I use to shoot a Hi Point 45 (which are bricks) and had no problems. If that helps any?
