Longer XR-3RED Frames?

Just ran across an issue with my friend's 2024 stainless Single Six. We tried swapping older factory and custom XR-3RED grips/stocks onto it. The gripframe bottom hangs down 1/16" below the grips/stocks all the way across....on all pairs tried. When did Ruger lengthen the XR-3RED frame? Best wishes, Marc

That's what you get now days from Ruger,,, especially in Stainless. Consistency not there anymore…

However that's an easy fix with Stainless. Yep get after it with a nice sharp bastard.
