Just wondering if everyone is able to buy reloading supply's locally now.
Or is there still a shortage in some parts of the country?

I'm not having a problem finding what I need. Just having a hard time paying what they want for it. $30 for a pound of powder and $35 for a box of primers.

Key

The only things that seem to be in short supply around here are small pistol primers and certain Powders (Unique, Bullseye, W231) Universal,Titegroup, 4227 and most rifle powders are still showing up, as well as brass and bullets. I have noticed a little less stock on the shelves in general, though.

If you are particular on what powders you like the answer in these parts is yes
still shortages and almost double price compared to a few of years ago.

Hi...
Supplies in southcentral Pennsylvania are in good supply.
Prices have stabilized at near pre-shortage levels, although the higher priced shops are still charging mid-shortage level prices.
I don't see how they sell anything as a trip down the road of just a few miles will get you a much better price. It does pay to shop around.
Even before the November elections, I was able to stock up on primers and powder with no restrictions on quantities and the prices were within a dollar or two off pre-shortage costs when buying in bulk(8# jugs of powder and 5000 count cases of primers).

No problem in the greater Phoenix area of Arizona.

Powder runs around $22.50/lb and CCI and Winchester primers are $23.95/1,000 with a $1.00/1,000 discount if you buy a sleeve. These are gun show prices from a couple of different vendors with the exception of powder, which is a local price.

No issues in Missouri. The local suppliers are even having sales again, on all components. The only thing that doesn't go on sale is shot.

yeah, same in Dallas. There are a few reloading stores here that have a decent supply of primers and powders. prices aren't double either. I wonder why it's different for different cities.

Here in South Carolina, I can get most everything I need. Prices are somewhat higher than pre shortage. Selection is somewhat less as well.

By comparing prices and shopping around I have found a consistent supply of CCI SP and SPM primers for around $30 a K. I can get my favorite pistol powder, Universal at $20.45 a 1 lb bottle.

4895 is still north of $30 a bottle.

Primers seem to be in the most short supply. The large LGS that has tons of powder at good prices, only sells primers by the 100 box. They don't have a lot of those on the shelf either.

450 looks and only 13 responses figured for more. And 2 of those are now mine.lol
So on average everyone can get supplies again. And powder prices are around $25/$30 a pound and standard primers $28/$32 a carton.
Hornady bullets are everywhere but Barnes,Speer, and Some Nosler are scarce. But are available online.

Was at a store Saturday in Bozeman. Powder was in abundance. Every powder I use was there and more, lots in the 8 pound jugs too. Lots of primers. I'd say the drought is over for now. Twenty two though is still spotty and hard to come by at decent prices.

I found some small pistol primers last week at Bi-Mart. Between my wife and I, we managed to buy 1000. That left 500 for someone else, so I didn't feel too bad. We went in to Bend yesterday, to the Sportsman's Warehouse, to get some turkey hunting gear for the wife. I noticed powder is starting to disappear pretty fast. No small pistol primers and not many large pistol. Plenty of shotgun and rifle primers though. Bullet selection is getting pretty thin, as is brass.

Reloading supplies are back at inflated prices. Still no regular supply of 22 ammo, though.

Supplies are "spotty" here in central/eastern N.C.. Many stores have lowered their entire inventory of everything in anticipation of counting merchandise for yearly tax reporting. I just purchased 1,000 small pistol primers yesterday for $39.95.
