I've been experiencing light primer strikes and some FTFs on the lower barrel in my RRL 28 gauge. I took the buttstock off and gave the receiver a good cleaning and relubed with Breakfree CLP. I haven't had any failures to fire since, but I notice that the firing pin indention is not as deep on the lower barrel as on the top. Is this a matter of concern, or just the way the gun works. Have not had the same experience with the 12 -gauge RRL I bought in 1988.
