Lenticular Clouds on Blanca Peak

Blanca Peak is NE of Alamosa, really pretty just before Sunset this evening, pic taken from out in the middle of San Luis Valley between Moffat & Saguache looking SE.

Saw a big lennie over Mt Baldy here in SoCal this afternoon.

Here is one that was over there on Blanca Peak yesterday, seems like Blanca gets more than the other peaks in the region, however a local told me the most perfect elliptical and alien looking one he ever saw around here was right over our house on Crestone Peak.

Here in Kentucky, we don't get to see things like that and if we do see a big storm cell like that usually bad things happen shortly after.
