I did the same repair/upgrade 2-3 years ago and my 20+ year old Challenger press just keeps chugging along. Lubing pivot points is a good thing. I would rather repair than replace when I can. As I remember, I had a couple questions when I was ordering the new parts and the folks from Lee were very helpful and responsive.

Hi,

Though I've only loaded a 1000 or so rounds since doing the upgrade on my Challenger, first impressions are its "second" life should far exceed what the "first" one would have been, had I not upgraded. After a couple of years or so with yours, would you agree? BTW, you're spot on about the value of a drop of oil here and there! As well as a regular wipe down after each use.
