I am considering the purchase of a "Billy the Kid" left hand draw gunbelt with holster from Cochise Leather Company in Arizona for my sweet shootin' .357/9mm 4 5/8 blue finished Blackhawk. I would appreciate some feedback from forum members that have purchased products from this company.

Thank you,

Pistolero

I've heard of Cochise but no direct experience. From the website it looks like hand-crafted vegetable tanned goodness. Triple-K.....ain't.

I have used Cochise strong side, cross draw and gunbelt in SASS matches for several years without any issues at all. I shoot birdshead Vaqueros in .45. I also used an IWB holster for a Taurus .380 that I carried in Peru. They make good quality leather goods.

FWIW, I ordered from Cochise four years ago. The website helped me spec it out perfectly for what I wanted and I have never regretted it. In fact, I just wrote them today about doing some more work.
