Lead or FMJ in Blackhawk

With a Blackhawk 45 converter is it ok to shoot lead 45 colt and FMJ in the 45acp? Or should it be both FMJ or both lead?
 
You can shoot either one. Common wisdom is that you should clean out **all** traces of jacket fouling before shooting cast bullets, but it's not always necessary. Unless the gun start leading badly with the cast bullets and you're absolutely certain that jacket fouling is the cause, I wouldn't worry about it.
 
It'll probably shoot better if you load 0.452" bullets though. I'd worry first that the throats of both cylinders are properly sized.
