I ordered a LCRX 3". I was wondering if anyone here knew if the Bowen Rough Country rear sight would fit this gun. I flipped back and forth between the GP 100 and LCRX3 images on the Ruger web site and they looked identical.
I emailed Bowen but am waiting for an answer.
Thanks.

Update: WOW! got a reply from Bowen on Easter Sunday!

Dear Sir:

Thanks for your inquiry.

We have not yet seen an LCRX in person here but I will assume this revolver uses the same sight as the SP101 and Bearcats which is a newer smaller design in which case our Rough Country sights will not fit as they are of the larger, standard-pattern sights.

At this writing, we have no plans to produce a smaller version of the Rough Country since none of our existing components would work. Hope this will help; thanks for your interest.

Sincerely yours,

Hamilton S. Bowen

Mr. Bowen has been very helpful with all of my projects. maybe we can request a "Divine Intervention" and get him to start making them.

Bowen is a good one.
But don't hold your breath for a new type of sights. Heck, he can't keep up with all the current orders!

I had the privilege of meeting Hamilton and his parents a few years ago. He is a Southern gentleman of the old school; his late father was even more so.

new to ruger. re: new lcrx - looking to buy, any thoughts from owners on quality, accuracy, kick, 38+p shooting stats?
thanks - Paul
