I'm not finding any reports of this in the search...

Has anybody successfully had the SA trigger pull on their LCRX 22 reduced without sacrificing reliable firing?

If so, what springs did you use?

I have my eyes on this gun and have read in several place the stock triggers are in the 4-5lb range in SA mode. I would love to have the SA trigger pull in the 3-4 range.

Any help would be really appreciated

I posted the same question about my LCRX, 38 +P. I did not get any answers just opinions. I would e interested in improving my SA on my LCRX 3". 17 Oz gun with a 5# trigger pull makes precise shooting difficult.
I agree the DA is smooth but the SA is too heavy for precise shooting. I shot my pistol yesterday and it groups OK but I am sure it would group good with a lighter SA pull.

The gigantic rubber grips and heavy trigger pull are two reasons I traded my LCRx .22 off for a used Smith 317. Wish S&W would get a better finish figured out for the airweight J Frames, though. The clear coat is a joke.

I really like my LCR-X .22 LR. I have not put a trigger gauge on it, but the SA trigger feels pretty nice to me. It shoots good and is a lot of fun single-action and double-action. I like the grips as they feel really comfortable in my hand and have a good feel about them. They aren't slick at all either.
