I just bought a brand new LCR, trading in an old J frame to get it. The trigger pull is great. When dry firing it, as the manual said it was perfectly safe to dry fire, I noticed a rattle noise from inside the revolver. It sounded as if something was loose. Is this normal and easily explained or should I be worried?

its funny how many reviews on you tube give their revolvers good marks but say that its not tight as it should be because of a rattle. i watched several reviews the other day where the guy was saying it was a good gun but had gotten loose because of the rattle. he was shaken it in front of him, i commented about it was probably the transfer bar but they came back with, it still should be tight. oh well i know it doesn't bother me as long as the cylinder is tight and it shoots good.

After the first trip to the range I noticed my LCR had the rattle so I did a little research here and read that it was normal. Just to make sure I went to the gun shop and handled a brand new one and it also had the rattle. After that, I don't worry about it and besides, the gun shoots great.
