LCR .22 /.38 Trigger

I've got the LCR in 38 and was wondering if anyone has compared the LCR .22 trigger pull as compared to the LCR 38? I love the LCR 38 trigger pull and want to get the .22 for my son, but want to be sure the trigger is as smooth. He can pull the LCR 38 easily but not my J Frame as easy. If anyone out there has both I would love to know how the trigger from the LCR .22 compares to the LCR 38.

I have both.
The LCR22 is just a little harder pull than the 38/357 LCR but it is just as smooth.

I agree, my LCR 22 has a little harder pull than my LCR 38. The 22 has fewer rounds so far though.

From what I've read about the LCR 22, that stiffer pull is deliberate. Rimfires need a stronger firing pin strike for reliable ignition.

Same here with my LCR22 and LCR 357. Both have very good triggers the 22 is just a little stiffer.

My brother has an LCR 22, and his is no as smooth as mine. Hoping it limbers up with some shooting. Mine however had a great trigger from the first shot.
