LC9 Pricing

$399 + Tax. Can't order a spare Mag from my dealer at this time. He say's " He just sold the lat LC9 he could get from his supplier (I bought it) and he has ten more on order with NO delivery date. Forget a spare mag for now as he had twice ordered them and gets the 'ON BACKORDER' answer from his supplier, but will keep trying".
Anyone out there have a source for magazines?

I was just on Rugers site and the mags with flat bottoms are listed as "In Stock" ~ didn't check the others.

$399 at Cabelas, and $399 at Scheels (another big box store). The LGS's in the area are impossible to find one. I didn't mind paying a little more at Cabelas than I may have at my LGS because I couldn't stand waiting anymore.

Prices in Omaha never seem to be as good as some prices I see on various forums. I have never seen an LCP for less than $330 around here and I hear about people getting them for less than $300 in other parts of the country.

I expect LC9s to land at $350 to $375 when they are readily available in LGS here in Omaha.

I just got off the phone with Ruger on the LC9 and if you gshoot your LC9 and the front sight comes loose, send to Ruger in Prescott and they will fix it and put roll pins into the front sight. In the past two months Ruger has been doing the roll pins deal on the new LC9 because of the manufacturing of the previous batches didnt work correctly. Someone might make a sticky on this if possible. It's just the front sight so far and nothing else internal.

Well, the one I bought yesterday has a fired case date of 4-11-11 so hopefully any front sight issue will have been addressed.

The local store priced it at $350.00 so .... this makes the first new gun I've purchased in many years. The 2nd just may be an SR1911 though.

Got mine from Impact Guns in Utah yesterday. It took three days to arrive from the day I ordered. $379 and free shipping, no tax, plus $25 for the FFL and background check.

What are they bringing in your area?

I just paid $334.11 + $25.89 tax for a total of $360.00 out the door for mine. If you're anywhere in northern Illinois, shoot me a PM and I'll give you the contact information for the dealer.

Thiokol.......I'm just curious! Why would one buy a small hide-out gun in a state where you can't carry? No offence intended, again, just curious.

I'm not Thiokol but can tell you this. I live just north of St. Louis MO, on the IL side of the Mississippi. Business travel takes me very frequently to states, like MO and IA, that allow me to use my FL and/or UT multi-state permits.

Just bought mine today! $350 Spent shell casing says 4-13-11
One month old yesterday! This is really a sweet little gun.

Ditto on the 1911. Will have to wait until it is just below $600 though.

$329.99 at Whittakers. I was there today and he had a few along with many mags for them. Extended mags were 34.99 and flats were 24.99. I actually prefer the flat bottoms anyway.

I have been thinking of getting the LC9 but I been looking at the Kahr CW9 . I know the Kahr is about $439 in my area new . I can't really make up my mind on which one to get. Which one would be the better one. Any one have both or know about them well. Help me to chose thanks, Mikek

Picked up my new LC9 today. Haven't had it to the range but hope to in a couple of days. It is a handsome little gun. Seems very well built, comfortable to hold and easy to take down and clean. I got an unexpected email a few hours ago from a local friend who is a long time shooter and huge S&W fan. Here's a little cut and paste from the email:

We shot a couple LC9’s and 1911’s. I am impressed by both. The LC9 was much more accurate than I expected.

CDNN has factory Ruger mags for these at $24.99 including both base plates if anyone is interested. I ordered a spare via their web site this weekend.

I plan to pick up my LC9 at Whitaker's next time I head over to Owensboro. I bought my LCR 357 there at $429.99. I always offer the deal to my LGS when I am pricing, but Whitaker's is always the lowest. I live about 80 miles away from them so I have to factor in about 30 bux for gas unless I am heading there anyway.

Just got mine today for $381 OTD. My LGS also had the LCP and it was priced at $288. He also has LC9 mags on back order.
