A gun smith just installed Ruger LED sights on my LC9 (SN - 320-XXXXX early, meaning, first or so, run.) and carry gun. Quite an improvement when coupled with Pachmayer slip on grip. While the project was rather simple, this smith noticed, (1) that the sights are apparently aluminum and soft so if you're thinking about them be careful. (2) and probably very important, he said that the after market front sight was about .2000 inch to small which caused the sight to be loose. He made a slight modification to correct the problem. I think and hope Ruger takes note of this issue.
Pistol was kind of "picky" on first couple of hundred rounds on ammo type. Now with over 500 rounds it seems to function very well.
