LC 9

Just purchased my LC 9
ran 100 rounds throught it and was noticing my shots were drifting further and further to the right,
I then discovered that the adjustable rear sight had come very loose and can be slid back and forth with just my finger.

I had someone tighten it on the range but dDoes this need to be adjusted by gunsmith, sent back to ruger ?

I would have thought it to be factory set and would not have expected it to come loos after the first set of rounds

does any one have any thoughts !?!

Sight it in to your eyes, tighten it down and shoot --shoot-shoot. It is an adjustable sight.

You may want to use a little blue loctite let it sit over night and your good..

I had the same problem with my LC9. Right in the middle of a range session I noticed it as it was about ready to fall off. Just eyeballed it back in place and tightened it down with a small Allen wrench. Hitting what I shoot at once again. I read somewhere in this form of someone else having the same issue. A little QC issue at Ruger.
