Laser Sight help

I need any available information on a specific laser sight. Mods, if this isn't the right forum please move. I have a few Mossberg 590s (Shockwaves). these days I like to stick laser sights on them because hip shooting leaves no real way to aim. I use Saddle Lasers for the 12 and 20, but they won't fit the ,410 breach. I looked in Brownell and other places and can't seem to find a sight for this particular gun. If I really had to (but don't want to) I can stick a cheap laser sight on the fore end. There is just barely enough room to use a hose clamp on the little sight. Does anyone here have any knowledge of a breach or trigger laser that would fit it? Thanks in advance for any help. Green preferred, but red is fine too.

WOW. I own several firearms for different purposes. I also happen to own the .410. Maybe it's for use by a small woman. Maybe I am teaching a kid about shotguns. Maybe it's being used by someone who is recoil sensitive. Maybe it's just fun to shoot. Maybe I use it as a vehicle gun like Jeepnik. If anyone read the OP, I was looking for help on a laser sight. If you have no information, then you don't. Fine by me.

I have LaserMax on one gun. It works as it should.

First, THANK YOU for this reply! Is the gun a Shockwave .410? I have Armalites and Laser Saddles on other guns. The problem with the .410 is fit. It either has to be a breach or trigger mount, I think.

I have mine mounted to a rail that I had silver soldered to the bottom of the barrel in front of the mag tube on an old 870 12 gauge.

The rail is actually intended to be D&T'd to the top of a reciever, but I don't recall what it was intended to fit. I have, or had - might have to look - a reference guide that listed the radius' of the various Weaver rails. There might be one that will fit the radius of a 410 barrel if you are up to doing some permanent alterations.

Same piece of rail holds the light. I no longer drink the "shottie for HD kool-aid", but once upon a time I thought this was a good idea.

The LaserMax projects through the "see-through" Leupy scope ring that attaches the WML.

I agree. There was no Shockwave when I put that together, I just wanted a short package. Trouble is, you had to have 18" of barrel and that made it a bit muzzle heavy. That, and the fact that those pistol grips were not much "fun" to shoot had me revert to a shoulder stock.

Don't blame you a bit. These days I rarely use the 12 and the 20 only sometimes. It's just that the .410 is still fun and easy, and my daughter can handle it.
