Just wanted eveyone to know. I just got off the phone with my dealer. He just got in 8 new production of the large frame Vaquero in 45LC. He had them on his wish list with Davidson. Good luck to all that have been waiting.

Davidsons has some in 44 mag listed: BNV475-C. Cleanups I guess as they have CCH frame.

Well, all the old Vaqueros have CCH frame, so Ruger is continuing with that. But the frames are entirely new production as they have higher and higher serial numbers on hem.
The first of the so-called "cleanup" Vaqueros started at about 58-960xx and with serial numbers now seen up to 59-00567, they've built over 4,500 "cleanup" guns! Sure doesn't seem like they are "cleanup" to me anymore.

A while back I bought a 5-1/2" Vaquero .44 Magnum from the group of 30 that Davidson's had. The serial number is 58-99699. Three years ago I bought one of the "clean-up" .44 Magnum Vaqueros. The serial number group of my new one does not appear on the Ruger Customer Service list; at least not where I can find it. The cartridge case envelope is dated March of this year if I recall correctly.
