The knife arrived yesterday and it looks as great as it did in the pictures. He sent it out quick and shipped it insured! He even included a nice note and a picture. What a great prize, I feel bad even accepting it.

I had no need for it.... I believe in 'Rule #9' but have no need to a prudy knife like that. Hope that Taterman appreciates it...
Like I said, my father bought this knife probably when him and my mother took a tour out west, either that or he won it at an American Legion or Devil Dog event. Not sure if this is the picture I sent Taterman or not... but here is one of him back in 50 or 51... look closely over the front wheel fender.... it tells a tale ...... there were Marine snipers in Korea.
