What info does anyone have on production dates, amounts made etc. This is the stainless MK II standard. (Short tapered barrel,- fixed sights).

I check MK II listings on Gunbroker regularly, and they don't seem to be especially scarce.
I've owned this one made in 1984 for some time now.

Mine was bought about 1984 also new by me. They don't seem common in the past anyway. Easily my favorite Mk II.

The only real problem with the early KMK series pistols is the 2 piece tapered ear bolt.
Sometimes the ears will separate from the bolt. It happened to my friend Leon with his KMK4 but he had the ears welded back on. Leon was a tool and die maker so it was no big deal for him to repair the issue. When he finished you would have to look hard to see that he had fixed it

Ahhh…..one I let get away! My favorite MK II was a blue 5.5 inch bull barrel gun. Shoulda kept that one.
