Ruger made some 5-1/2" tapered target bbl MKII's. I believe blue and stainless, pretty pricey if you happen to find one today.

You're probably thinking of the 5-1/4" models.

Yes, they are super sweet!
I have a MkII Government Model, it probably out shoots my 10/22!
I still prefer the tapered bbl models.
