Just bought SN 170- (1988 production) GP100 6"

Looks to be in great condition. Had a scope mounted to it, I requested to have original rear sight instead of scope mount. The rear sight has rust, so I need a new rear sight. I have the option of choosing to buy a rear sight the is Low or high? What is the difference? Is there a preference for the model and year of gp 100 i have? Is there any aftermarket sights that come highly recommended? Thanks guys.
