I would always get a kick out of people who had unreastic expectations of their internet connections. Single digit figures (mb/s) being expected to stream HD to their new 60-70 inch led tv... WITHOUT BUFFERING. lol
Well I checked the mail the other day and saw I had received several flyers in the junk mail stack. Contained in these flyers were ads for internet service. If you live out here, you know what works and what doesn't. Working in the field I do, you repair and service a lot of internet issues.
The advertisements for these internet services made astronomical claims as to how great their services were.
Then it struck me. Maybe the expectations of some of these people were simply based on the advertising and no real-world technical experience...
These companies should be ashamed of themselves...
Just a thought...
