I’ve been thinking about it for a while. Gotten pretty out of shape the last few years after surgery and a frozen shoulder. First real workout today and I tried not to overdo it. But am I going to be sore tomorrow.

Ba da boom, thank you, I'll be here all week.

The place that I go puts a moniter on you plus they check your BP and your BS 2X minimum each time. A few times my BP has gone way low, and a couple of times it's happened to my BS. Most gyms don't have that, and it could be a problem regardless. I think my lowest BP was 80/40. I'm glad I'm at a place where they check that stuff.
From what I understand swimming is good all around exercise and easy on the joints. My cardiologist had a picture of a patient on his wall, who had a valve replacement done, as she was finishing a marathon. Ain’t gonna happen for me. I wouldn’t subject my knees or body to the abuse. Good to know the replacement parts can hold up to use though.A.J. said:I see a lot of very old people at the pool where I swim laps. Lots of people are working out now. Never too late.
