I don't think it's THAT bad. I've seen them where the whole gun was done, that was a bit horrific if you ask me.

I don't mind a nicely engine-turned hammer and trigger, but this doesn't really appeal to me at all.

The work is nicely done, though, I'll say that. Very straight and even. I'd trust him to do a rifle bolt for me. Or a gauge panel for a hot rod. :wink:

Some of the Super Sport Impalas of the '60s--I think the '62s through '64s--had that in their chrome trim.

Some of the '70s Trans Ams used it on the dashboard, too.

I have to be honest, this is a used gun. Maybe 20 rounds. But it is immaculate! As you can see it comes with factory box, paper work, factory wood grips, and Pachmyers. And a beautiful jeweling job on the cylinder.

How is that being honest? :lol:

I wouldn't go out looking for a handgun like that but for the right price I'd buy it. I carry it in a holster anyway and can shoot it in the woods so no reason to be embarassed :roll: :roll:

CraigC has got it right! I have polished out a lot of jewelling in my time. Easy to do with "most" guns as the jewelling is barely into the surface. Another story if it has been "ground" in. I have seen a few cases of that also!....................Dick :wink:

Yikes! If I knew someone that owned that, I would be required to make fun of them on a regular basis. Double that if they are a horrible shot with it, and half that if they outshoot me. Either way, some ribbing would be in order
