With the success of the LC9 among gun owners and concealed carry individuals, the LC9 is coming under fierce competition by the competition. So I ask the question as an LC9 owner, is it possible to do something completely different and design, build and test an LC9 with DA/SA and a decocker like the P95 and my Beretta PX4 Storm Sub-Compact. Perhaps this would be another show stopper for Ruger. The LC9 DC? Sounds like a possibility to me. What do others think?

I'd just like the LC9 without a manual safety, but I like your idea for SA/DA with a decocker as well.

Hello Bearcat, I think we may have something on this idea. Spoke to my gun smith today and he was positive in his remarks about the thought.

How about just an ambi safety? That ain't rocket science and we left-handers sure would appreciate it.
