Iron sights from Ruger...

Does anyone know if you can purchase iron sights directly from Ruger? I really want sights on my rifles, I can find plenty of "R" models, but not many "RS". Can I have sights installed on a clean barrelled '06, so I can have a little brother to my .375 RSM? :mrgreen:

I have tried and have been told no. I have tried and been told yes. Worth a shot. If not, try Brownells or gunshows or, lastly, NECG if the OEM is not available. Depending upon your rifle, with the front you may find it requires fitting to the barrel OD as I had to do with one of mine.

I bought a banded front sight, sling swivel band and the quarter rib directly from Ruger and had it fit by my local smith so I say yes by my experience.

Ruger has sold them to me in the past. There are easier and cheaper ways to install sights on a Ruger. BUT if you want it to look factory you will need to find them after market OR far easier order ALL of the parts involved from Ruger directly. It's a bit spendy because you have to order each part by number.

The barrel band as sold by Ruger is buffed and blued BUT it is not honed to the final barrel taper and you will need to do that yourself or have a smith do it.
