Information needed

My wife gave me a Ruger GP 100 model 1751 in Stainless. I cannot find any information listed anywhere for this gun? The serial number is 176 431xx. The cataloque number is KPG 831 It is chambered in 38 Special and I dont know if it is Plus P I would appreciate any information and wonder why I cant find any listed anywhere.

Yes it will handle +P loads. Same frame as the 357, just chambered for the 38 instead. Some companies and or departments wont let you carry a 357.

Agree, +P .38 Special loads should be much below what that gun will really handle since the .357 chambered guns are the same construction.
