Accessory set up.
I saw an older aftermarket kit set installed on a Ruger 10/22 today. You remove the stock, and install the pieces and it makes a 10/22 look like a Thompson sub gun. I think the brand was "Scottwerks."
Anybody have any experience? Value ideas? I seem to recall them in my faded cobwebs of my feeble mind,, but I need up to date info.
I did find them "new" from 10/22fungun. They retail for $300 for the one I saw. I need info on how well they work etc.

The kit doesn't really do anything to affect function, so if your 10/22 runs fine without the kit, it will run fine with it.

I bought one from Scott very early on and had no complaints at all. Quality of the kit components was excellent. My one complaint was the rear sight, it is very basic. I cobbled together a better on for my kit.

I kinda figured that. I looked it over,, and didn't see anything I felt would affect function. In my research,,, I found they offer 2 models. One is like yours, called the "Squad Leader," the same as the one I saw, and another one with a different foreward hand grip.

They also came with different dummy magazines. One has a drum, and one a stick type.

Nope,, I don't visit rimfire central. I don't do many Forums,, and as such,, nope. Just looking for info on one I saw.
