I subscribe to another gun forum where I check in frequently. For quite a while (probably 10-15 years ago when they were struggling to get up and running), all of their sidebar sponsors featured barely-legal (I suppose) mail-order brides from other countries sporting bare-cheek cutoffs and gravity-defying silicone zoomers in flimsy tanktops.
Kinda cute (in a lurid sort of way), but it made things a bit uncomfortable with my wife and daughter (a teen at the time) walking through the room, lol. Brand new laptop and nothing to do with "cookies," which they knew.
Long story short, several forum members complained about the same exact thing until the domain-name owner/manager was able to drum up business with some relevant, paying pop-up sponsors (local/nationwide shops, gun/ammo manufacturers, ranges, gunsmiths, pro-2A lobbyists, etc.).
Much better now, and I'm glad they were able to resolve it with legit gun-related businesses, entities aligned with the website mission.
I could say I sorta miss seeing the bimbage when I log on there, but I don't. Foreign and domestic human-trafficking sponsors are despicable.
