Yeah, so they could have a shell to put in with the gun! 8) Contender, I figure you and Daniel Boone are related. If'n I recall correctly Dan'l stated "I have never been lost, but there were a day or two I didn't know where I was." :mrgreen:Jimbo357mag said:Lucky guy. It must be nice having a brand new Ruger factory in your backyard.
Maybe you could ask if they have any guns you could try out for them? :D
Since they don't give the tours I won't be heading there; however if they did it is WAY off either way I would be driving (I-81 or I-85). Checked it out and just driving to the plant would add an additional 1.5 hours to my trip. I'll get the pictures from Contender instead. :D :Dblume357 said:Be nice if they gave tours, maybe a side field trip for folks coming to the east coast meeting next October.
So what you are saying is Prescott lost assembly and test people to NC.mohavesam said:Just saying, Prescott lost good employees to stuff the new hire roles for a plant that is essentially assemble and test. So goes the role of American hourly employees.:o

My town got BMW... I think besides a few tax breaks... we americans only want about 2 weeks a year vacation and this is a 'right to work state' never have figured out that term since it means you can be fired at the bosses whim....
But the good news... now there are over 8,000 folks working at BMW and just about as many in connected support businesses....
