you're right. it's easy to be a cynic . the older we get the more we see. it is a difficult to embrace the reality of what life means to her. i see that i want to move as far away as possible. someone's daughter , abused, used, discarded , avoided, despised. thanks for the wake up Bobski. makes us ponder what God sees in us.

Boy, if that don't beat everything. I've gotten some pretty hefty sized splinters in my hands while cutting wood or doing landscaping. I have used needles, knives, tweezers and everything else to get them out and sometimes they are crazy long. No, no no, your boys got it all wrong. She went in for surgery and it was so bad that the doc (just graduate Medical school) bad put pens in her face to hold her face together so it won’t fall off. That’s just how it turned out. We take all those pens and stuff out of her face, her face will fall off.
The old saying "Nobody can help you until you are willing to help yourself" applies here.

Can you imagine being related to this person and having to act like everything is normal when this person is present? I have to bite my tongue and be quiet with one of my own granddaughters who is always complaining about how poor she is while her arms are covered with expensive to get tattoos.

It is pretty evident in society that there is a major revolt against whatever anyone wants to consider right and normal. It is Satan's plan to pry us away from our faith and lead onto the path of destruction. The old, I can do anything I want, is becoming more popular than ever.
