This reminds me of the final days of Frugal Squirrels. It was a good prepper site before Y2K. I was banned along with a bunch of other folks for mentioning my wife was Catholic. The forum died shortly after that.

I call BS! I have had the moderators give me pretty severe warnings and there is a definite bias in who gets pulled!
On one of the S & W Forums, I pointed out that the "Moderator" had obviously misread the rules. Got me a 30 day suspension!

At this point in my life I generally don't care what other people think. I do have to watch myself around certain family members. My wife has a tendency to get mad at me when I wear my pro conservative shirts in public with her.

The hall monitor mentality is alive and well on most of the gun forums I'm a member of. The Ruger Forum is the best one I've been a member of in many years. I don't spend a lot of time on line anymore, and spend most of my forum time here. The political sub forum is the only one that can get me spun up, but I don't need to go there, plenty of great pertinent content here on our favorite subject, RUGERS.
For the lefties on here spewing libtardian BS and then whine for getting beat up for it, I would say, READ THE ROOM, BRO. You're on the RUGER FORUM. We are a bunch of law abiding gun nuts, good people with moral compasses. No one on either side is going to change anyone's mind here. If you need validation, go over to the 'White Guys For Skamala' forum. I bet there's hugs all around over there. I get hearing opposing view points, except when they are totally stupid, and everyone KNOWS they are stupid, even the people spouting them. I have never heard a factual, logical, compelling argument from anyone that Harris would be better for the country than Mr Trump, not even from Harris herself. All I hear sounds like a bunch of 4 year olds screaming they should have cookies and kool-aid for every meal, should be allowed to stay up as late as they want, and Mommy and Mommy are mean.

I got suspended from the S&W forum. A member posted his new wooden walking stick. I thought it was important he know that it was a bull's penis. I went back later my post was not there. I thought I forgot to hit save and rewrote my post.
After I hit send I got a delayed message that my post was deleted, I couldn't delete my second post quick enough and got suspended for re posting it.
I never went back. There was one guy over there who was very knowledgeable about military knives, TEXAS STAR but he had died and nobody else there seems to know much about anything. When I left the forum’s average IQ dropped significantly. Lol.

The odd thing is that two others posted even more radical, violent, and threatening statements after I did and ONE OF THOSE WAS A MODERATOR.

I do not remember it's name. Apparently the American sense of humor is not appreciated.

What happens when his sister get raped by some Illegal Migrant! seems likeon another forum because I made some so called 'unacceptable comments' about the influx of violent criminals entering the US illegally.
The moderator made a derogatory comment before deleting the 'unacceptable' portion of my post. Unfortunately, I don't even remember what I said. Not the first time I've been chastised for stating the obvious.
I see a rape by migrants everyday and I am not even looking for it!

I was banned from Graybeard outdoors 14 years ago for having the audacity of trying to sell a similar item as the owner of that site had for sale at the same time. They still send me current content notices that I have way to reply to.
My husband has often received that "your comment was rejected as a violation of community standards.". It cracks him up!
I was banned on one forum. I got in a pissin' match with a petty little dick mod and asked to be banned. He did, and we're both happy with it. (At least I am. I don't really care if he is.)
They NEVER explain what the standards are.
It is fun to mess with the algorithms by misspelling the words to see what passes the overlords. Lol.

I was banned from the green Sig forum for trolling because I corrected Sigmonkey about his spelling. Don’t even miss it.
Funny site that is, the "Sig Pistols" page has more other brands than Sig and the mods allow it.

Did you really? Good grief! As I recall, he tossed me earlier then that, but I "might" have came closer to actually deserving to get tossed, I am somewhat "acidic" (or maybe that should be spelled "a dick")? I remember two big things there, no "hole" discussion (locks, which remain an abomination!) and no politics? It seemed to me THEN, as it still does, that Conservatives, IF we want to survive, need to become MORE vocal, not less... So I didn't mind getting tossed too much.
Yeah the no hole discussion issue is odd. Maybe S&W leans on them?
