I know for sure this one is a VQ trigger on my MKII.

Who do you think made this one? (wife's MKII)

Bottom one looks just like the VQ trigger I just bought from Midway except mine is the stainless finish. Maybe they eliminated the milled out sides on top of the trigger.

There was a change in the width of the VQ trigger a few years back. The older ones were wider than the trigger guard. The new ones aren't.

The top trigger is an old style VQ target trigger with a wide finger pad. They discontinued them when folks started complaining that the extra width was contributing to AD's, since the trigger itself was outside of the triggerguard's protection due to the width. Here's a picture of one out of the frame.

The lower trigger is what VQ went with as a successor for their adjustable target trigger. They slimmed down the width and changed the angle of the pad.

Best thing I did to mine for sure. I changed all the guts though. Have you looked inside either yet? Doesn't matter either way, just asking.

I know for sure the internals were changed on the one with the wide trigger, not sure about the MkII with the more narrow, black trigger.

It seems to shoot the same, though.

They repositioned the overtravel screw on their trigger as some of the one's in the middle of the trigger face were getting caught in the Mark III frame's longer trigger slot. This is a picture of the target trigger from VQ's own website.
