Lou Costello was the shorter of the two, the "funny" one, and generally the more nervous of the two. Bud Abbot was the taller, and was the "straight man". In order to remember which was which, I just recall the short guy would often call out, "Heyyyyy, Abbot!!!!"

Abbott & Costello were seriously upstaged by the reporter breaking the news on Asiana flight 214's crew names (I nearly spit my coffee just thinking about that). BUt I'm sure every sports "announcer" has lines pre-written for the day they get Hu on base...

Yes Bud Abbot is the tall skinny one and Lou Costello is the short rotund one and I do love that routine, but what do I know, gee I'm just a 70+ year old kid lol
