Hunter Holsters for Bearcat

I would like to hear some opinions on the Hunter frontier holster

I recieved this holster for my HS DoubleNine nearly 45 years ago. I now have a couple of Bearcats for the nephews and wanted to get them holsters and belts.

Is this an example of a authenitic western holster? I have been trying to get a good look at HGWT and san the knight, it looks similar
Is the Hunter a high quality hoster NOW? I know the one I have was well used and abused and still looks great
Or should I look for a more authenic rig?

They work fine and will do what you ask for a long time if cared for properly. Just keep in mind...You will pick up more ladies with designs from Simply Rugged, Mike Barranti, and Reuben Cogburn (Bill) from Alaska Leather Works. I also have a few Bianchis and a couple from EP Sadllery. Mike Barranti seems to do the most custom work, he has some really classy stuff that I just drool over...Sixshot and Two dogs have a couple fo his rigs that exude class...My daily carry is a split between Simply Rugged and ALW...just my 2 cents

Also keep in ind that these guys I mentioned can personalize the holster for your young shooters...They'd make a really cool gift they'd tresure forever! I have a Bearcat with a 120 style from Simply Rugged pic'd here.

Here's mine. Very old, the bearcat is 50 next year.
