Having owned my own home for many, many years, I too refuse to buy any kind of warranty.
Look at what a warranty will cost monthly. Put the same amount of money each month into a separate account or safe etc. DON"T use it,, except, except for whatever the home repairs that will occur.
Just yesterday,, I had to fix a tiny pin hole leak in a pipe under my house. It cost me $28 for the pipe. I did my own repair work. Bigger stuff like when we re-did our roof,, we had the money set aside,, and could have paid for it. We also had home owners insurance that was going to pay for much of it. We paid the bill, and let the insurance pay us back.
A whole lot less stress than fighting with any company over any repairs or replacements & what they will "allow" us or worse,, dis-allow on some warranty crap. Especially if you NEED something & can't wait for them to get to you to see if you qualify for whatever they deem necessary.
Nope,, no warranty crap here. Just a good homeowners insurance policy.
