Check out Comp-Tac.com, In specific the "international" version. It is truly one of the most versatile and comfortable holsters I own. It is three holsters in one and has three options: belt, drop down, and paddle. In the belt and paddle it has changeable options from straight cant fast draw, to FBI cant, to cross draw, and fine tuning options to fit your individual ergonomics. It's kydex with adjustable tension adjustments and will not damage your gun. Truly an amazingly, indestructible, durable, and comfortable holster.
For IWB EDC I would look at the "Minotaur MTac". The absolute most comfortable IWB I've ever worn! It's has selectable cants, is shirt tuck-able, combo of double layer leather on back and outer kydex shell with adjustable tension adjustment, also has replaceable shells allow you to add shells for different guns!
IMO Comp-Tac.com doesn't get enough airtime... They also offer MILITARY and LEO Discounts of 10% with credentials.

Just be assured that if you're gonna shoot the games, you're gun is going to develop holster wear no matter what holster you choose and no matter what material it's made out of. Play them long enough and your gun's going to develop a little character along the way.
If you consider honest holster wear "damage" you may want to keep it in the safe.

Like I said, leave it in the safe or never holster it. 
That being said, stainless often times does not show holster wear as much as does, say, blued steel. Often times you will see a little bit of shine at the edges near the muzzle and the front of the dust cover (that forward portion of the frame underneath the barrel).
Fact is, if you are going to play the games, they require you to insert and remove your gun from the holster at least once per stage. If you expect to become better at them and increase your skill level at all, you will need to practice - a lot. That includes draw drills. Again, lots of holstering.
It's just plain something you're gonna have to get over if you want to actually use the gun.
I know it's your first gun and you want it to look as good as it can for as long as it can. The first one is always the hardest. Personally, I find pristine guns boring and evidence of not being used. Honest wear from honest use is something to be proud of.
An option that might help to decrease wear is to get some Blue Wonder Armadillo wax. I've used it to help with rust, but seeing as it is a wax and does create a barrier, it might help some. Thing is that it will mostly likely wear off with just a few holsterings, so it's certainly not a perfect solution.
