Hogue Eddition Survival Super Redhawk?????????????

I seem to remember a few years ago a Super Redhawk that was the precurser to the Alaskan. It was a 2.5" Redhawk chambered in both 454 and 480 and came with orange Hodue monogrips and a matching orange pellican case filled with survival gear. Shortly after they made the same model but this one came with yellow Hogue monogrips and a yellow pellican case again filled with survival stuff.

Anyone remember this special run? What were they oficially called? I would like to add one to my collection. Also did Ruger ever make the Alaskan chambered in S&W 500?

That was the Smith & Wesson .460 and .500... orange box and a yellow box.

I never seen the Ruger packaged like. :?

Neither of the S&W cartridges will fit within the recent Ruger models dimensions.

Thanks fellas, maybe that is why I couldn't find any info on those two guns..........I had the wrong manufacturer. The giant frame of the S&W 500 is not to my liking so I guess I will have to pick up an Alaskan in 454.
