Highest Old Model 357 Blackhawk serial number

Just curious if someone knows what the highest OM 357 Blackhawk serial number is? I did a little Googling, but didn't find it. Just thought several here might just know it off the tops of their heads. I noticed that one of mine is a 1973 gun, and am curious how close it is to the last one. It's a weeeell-used 4 5/8 shooter. Nothing special or collectible about it. Just curious. Thanks

Was 31-45190 the highest serial number Old Model or just the last one shipped? As you know sometimes lower serial numbered guns were shipped later then higher serial numbered guns and it is possible that a higher serial numbered gun was shipped before this gun.

Dougan's info supports the 31-45190 number, and it has been listed as the last-shipped number on Bob's List for many years . . . shipped May, 1973.

Higher number possible? I suppose so, but so far the evidence does not support that.

Dougan's numbers have always been estimates.
31-45191 WAS the last number assigned to a cylinder frame by Ruger...that according to a printed binder full of good info I had once that was assembled and printed by Ruger for use by Law Enforcement for criminal case information. There were high and low serial numbers of every Ruger produced up to that time, rifling twists of all the calibers and a lot of other information.
I take that binder of information to be accurate because of its source.
