High polished redhawk?

Ok here is the question. Did ruger make a 5.5” high polish redhawk in 45 colt? I understand that they offered the high polish in late 90s- early 2k. Can’t find any info on whether they did 5.5” Redhawks in 45 colt? Also is there any way of knowing if it was factory other than a letter?

Factory letter or phone call or the end label on the box.

I don’t think any made but outside the factory, RENE be your best resource.

According to RENE there were no more than 500 made in each of .45 Colt and .44 Mag (Model # GKRH-445 and GKRH-44). Model GKRH-44R was a high polish with the top strap machined for the Ruger Integral scope Ring system and it is not known if any of these were ever made. The high polish guns were shipped in the Gray plastic boxes not the yellow/black boxes.

I think the 45 Colt number was 455 and 44 Mag used 445. Need Chet15 to chime in.

.44 Mag. only, so models GKRH-44, GKHRH-445 and GKRH-44R (if they made this last one
There weren't any high polish in .45 Colt.

Factory letter is only $10. That's definitely a no-brainer.
