Price is determined by condition. That $31 copy is probably in very bad shape. The book I mentioned on loading ammo was very well used, probably 40 percent compared to new. They had copies as high as $300. The sad news id I could have gotten a copy in excellent shape for free. The library in the small town I lived in in Nevada had a copy and they did some house cleaning and it got thrown out along with bunch of other books that got little or no traffic. :x Sure wished I'd known about it. I'd read it back then and wanted to read it again and it was gone.

Every once in a while I look at my 1964 edition for a trip down memory lane. Old Elmer got a lot of stuff right. I was never into big hats, and cowboy boots were a thing of my youth...but his taste in good sixguns stuck with me.
